Canon L series lenses.

  • Apr. 22nd, 2008 at 4:15 PM

The heavens parted and the sun shone down on me today as I learned it possible for me to own my very own L lens.

Next week, I will have the Canon 135mm f/2L lens.

f2

Seriously fast, going to be awesome and versatile on so many levels.

My grubby little photography obsessed hands cannot wait.

Congrats! Beautiful bokeh with that lens!

But be warned... once you start with L lenses you can't go back. I got my first one a year ago, and I've now replaced pretty much every lens I had with its L equivalent. It's an expensive little addiction.

Oh, preach it!
The 50mm for 1300?!!

I about shat myself. But The nifty fifty is fantastic as it is, I can't imagine how awesome it is as an L

Re: Oh, preach it!
Oh no, no, the 50mm is the only one I couldn't justify. I have a 50mm f/1.4 that I love - to me, it's as clear as my L lenses, and was $1000 cheaper. That's my only non-L glass now though, so it feels a little inadequate, I think. Poor fella.

Oh I know. I don't have the 1.4, but I love my 1.8.

I've got a feeling I'm in for an expensive summer lens wise.

I want so many. They are like shoes. Shoes for your camera.

I was able to use the 135 f/2L for a paid shoot last summer. I've been wanting one ever since. You'll love it!
